COVID-19 disease is a cause of the novel coronavirus which was first identified in the Wuhan, China. It spreads directly through the respiratory droplets of an infected person or by touching the contaminated surfaces. 

There is no proper vaccine for it to date, but they are trying their best.

What Is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus disease that came to know in the year 2019, where ‘Co’ means corona, ‘Vi’ means a virus, and 19 describes the year in which it was first to get to know.

How It Transmits?

The COVID-19 disease can be transmitted through the respiratory droplets of face to face contact of an infected person or touching the contaminated surfaces of the virus. The droplets can easily spread in or nearby which can be inhaled by the non-infectious person. The COVID-19 viruses’ lifespan is more than any other viruses. Therefore, it is highly recommendable not to touch any surfaces without knowing that well.

Symptoms COVID-19

Fever, common cold, and muscle pain are common symptoms of COVID-19 disease. In some cases, the infection can cause pneumonia and respiratory difficulties too. As the virus-infected, our body and our immune system are not capable to fight with it, so our body can face some severe health problems.

These symptoms are very common to flu (influenza), so we should keep social distancing around us. No one can examine anyone either they have common flu (influenza) or a novel coronavirus infection.

There are some major precautions you can take to avoid infections:

  • Keep distance from others as much as possible.
  • Wash your hands frequently in an equal interval of time.
  • Avoid contact with anyone who has symptoms like flu or the common cold.
  • Avoid going outside if it is not necessary.
  • Try not to touch your face, nose, and eyes.
  • Use face masks and alcohol base sanitizers if you need to go outside.

COVID-19 disease is very dangerous for humanity. So always try to be aware of it. Take precautions whenever you are in public areas or nearby of any sick person.

Conclusion

The novel coronavirus is the deadliest virus for the whole of humanity. There is no proper vaccine. Still, some people get well by boosting their immune system. The best way to not get sick from this virus is to keep social distancing additionally.

There are a total number of 432,762 people who are dead from the COVID-19 virus, and 4,053,002 people are in recovery from the total number of 7,891,666 cases worldwide.

We have to support our countries in this critical situation. Furthermore, we should maintain social distancing and hope for the vaccine in the market as soon as possible.
