Some people add some essential oil like eucalyptus oil into the water.

Water can solve half of the problem. Drink as much as much water to soften down the dried mucus. It will hydrate your body too.
- Warm And Cold Compress

- Lay down with a warm compress drape across around nose, forehead and eyes. Keep this for about 10 to 15 mins.
- Remove the warm compress and put a cold compress around your nose, forehead, and eyes for 30 minutes.

Nasal spray can reduce swelling and congestion in the nasal passage. There are many types of nasal sprays out there in the market. However, people should be more careful about using the spray. Excessive use of the nasal spray can result in side effects.
- Over-the-counter Medicines
People can take over-the-counter medicines to treat sinus infections. Like
Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, and Aspirin. These may relieve inflammation and swelling.
If the infection is serious then visit a doctor he or she will prescribe you some antibiotics and some strong nasal spray which can cure the infection within some days.
But always remember that no medicine is good if you take it excessively, because, it can harm your body as well as your health. Sinus infection can be quite a painful affair if not treated on time. You must never take it lightly and take due care at the earliest.
