A new study published in the Journal of Integrative Medicine claims to have identified a herbal treatment for the condition known as ED. The authors identified four herbs, which they claim are effective against ED: giant red knot (inflammation), giant knot (swelling), white willow bark (congestion) and Urtica dioica (reflux). They further claimed that the herbs contain natural components that may prevent the re-occurrence of the condition or even stop the symptoms for prolonged periods of time. The herbs are said to work by inhibiting the actions of neurotransmitters within the brain which in turn, prevents inflammation from occurring.
It is worth pointing out that the above claim is based upon a double-blind clinical study, conducted by the National Institute of Health (NIH). However, some experts have raised doubts about the methodology adopted by the researchers. For instance, one criticism noted by critics was that the herbs were not separated into categories according to their therapeutic effect. This means that if one herb was found to be effective in relieving symptoms, then it was counted as a useful herbal remedy for ED. In other words, the researchers had counted the effective herbs according to their therapeutic effect, rather than their therapeutic effect based on whether they relieve symptoms.
Efficacy Of The Herbs
Another criticism pointed out was that despite the presence of various scientific data regarding the efficacy of the herbs, the researchers only considered herbs that can act through the five biochemical pathways identified in the research. As such, while identifying and recommending herbal remedies for treating and with these herbs, the herbal treatment for ED must also be able to deal with the other three biochemical pathways identified. Therefore, while the herbs act in parallel to each other, they cannot be effective individually.
Giant Knot And Urtica Dioica
Two of the herbs identified for this study – giant knot and Urtica dioica, could improve erectile function by dealing with the insulin and testosterone level pathway. They do this by increasing the receptor cell density in the male reproductive system. These two herbs also have other beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system and nervous system. This means that these herbs could improve erectile function by addressing two important cardiovascular and nervous system problems. It also means that these herbs could improve erectile dysfunction by increasing the blood flow and the oxygenation of the brain and the spinal cord.
Perks Of Herbs Treatment
In addition to the beneficial effects that the mentioned herbs could have on the cardiovascular system, neurological system and spinal cord, they are also known to be effective in improving sexual health. This is because they act synergistically with each other and have different mechanisms of action. For example, the herbs mentioned above improve nitric oxide production in the body, which results in better circulation and more energy during erections. On the other hand, these herbs reduce the sensitivity of the nerve endings in the penis and the ejaculatory organs. This means that the nitric oxide and the energy levels rise, which causes more stimulation and improves erectile function and libido.
Shogun Yiyang Capsule
This is the reason why some people are using the Shugan Yiyang capsule to treat ED. It contains a combination of herbs known to improve erection in men. These herbs are Ligusticum, Ginkgo Biloba, Saw Palmetto, Yohimbe and other herbs commonly found in Asian and European herbal medicine. In order to take advantage of the benefits of these herbs, it would be best if you make your purchase from a reputable manufacturer and distributor who specialize in selling herbal dietary supplements. Then you should ensure that the pills you will buy are manufactured under the strict standards set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Another effective herbal extract is Angelica Sinensis. This herbal extract has been widely used in Europe for treating cardiovascular diseases, muscle spasms, neuralgia, menstrual disorders, low blood pressure and other body dysfunctions. Scientists conducted research in China and published their findings in Science Daily regarding the effects of this herbal extract on erectile dysfunction in rats. They observed that the increase in vascular permeability and increase in nitric oxide level in the area around the penis made the animals behave normally like humans.
Some of them are based on traditional Chinese medicinal systems, while others are from Asian and European medicinal traditions. As these formulas are not standardized, they may not have the same therapeutic effect when taken as directed. You need to consult your doctor first before taking any supplement especially if you have a medical condition.
